    Urban PoetryFollowing a trip to Scandinavia, I composed this interactive collection of photography. Street signs, store-front windows, advertisements and “found” sculpture inspired me while discovering the urban streets of Copenhagen and Sweden. The flash-based interactive is experiential in nature, as the image titles function as links that hover on the screen, like visual poetry.

    Stings Visual Poems

    StingsA collection of photocollages were designed, inspired by a poem by Sylvia Plath entitled, “Stings.” The images are composed of at least two separate photographs that are merged into one image through stripes. Both images are visible at the same time, resembling a rotating billboard display that has malfunctioned.

    Andy Boy PhotographyA series of photos illustrating a dozen selected recipes using Andy Boy produce were art directed by Wendy Constantine. Props and plateware were selected and arranged for each dish with the collaboration of a food stylist and chef.

    A Thousand Words PhotographyJill Gustafson is a very talented Berkeley, CA based fine art photographer (We miss you here in Boston, Jill!). This site features her beautiful photos as the primary subject. The interface is minimal, visual and non-intrusive.

    Jill’s images of farmhouses are among my favorites. These were taken at her family’s home in South Dakota. The garment district in Boston inspired many of Jill’s photos.
